A Shower for Janny

This month, my sweet niece, Janny Morrison, is due to marry the man of her dreams, Luke Reed. Janny has known Luke for years, as he is the older brother of her best friend, Emilie Reed. We are very excited for both the Morrison and Reed families.

On April 26th, we were honored to host a bridal shower for Janny in our home. It was a special time for all who attended. Our family was only responsible to have a clean house for this event. Many other helping hands prepared the food, decorations, etc. Natalie and Callie had many surprises for their soon-to-be married sister, such as “fancy” party hats (made especially for this event by Natalie), a “fancy” bridal tiara and necklace for Janny to wear, and delicious purple (Janny’s theme color) punch for all to enjoy. The hats were a “must wear” item, so everyone was able to join in on the festivities.

Janny was blessed with many wonderful gifts and was sure that Luke would be more than pleased with how the Lord had blessed them. It was delightful to share in Janny’s joy. We are all looking forward to witnessing the union of Luke and Janny, as they take their marriage vows on Saturday, May 24th, 2008.
