On Monday (January 24th), Lillie will be 18 years old! WOW! Truly amazing that time has flown by so fast. We started celebrating her birthday early and it will actually not be completely done being celebrated until she has her "official" birthday lunch with Brittney Chatham in February. Both girls are turning 18 this year and since Brittney's birthday is in March, they decided to find the middle between their birthdays and celebrate with a special lunch in town together. Very fun!
Yesterday, we had Lil's birthday dinner. Today, we had her birthday breakfast complete with all her family birthday gifts. She was especially blessed to open her special "now you are 18" pearl necklace (a tradition for all the Elliott granddaughters) from Grandpa & Nana. It is beautiful and something Lillie will always cherish. This evening, Lillie was blessed by a birthday celebration with some of her special friends...the Chatham's and Fagala's. Wayne, Kathy & Mama Niece weren't able to join us but they sent David, Mark and Gloria to represent the family which blessed us all greatly. We even had a bonus guest...the Chatham kid's Uncle Brian. It was so much fun to have him join us and it was quite the treat for Brent to catch up with an old friend from CA. Everyone seemed to have a great time which added to Lillie's joy.

Lillie and Brittney (both soon to be 18!)
The older kids had fun playing Dutch Blitz
Mark (soon to be 16) and Gloria (14)
Brenna (14) and Brooke (16)
Lillie and David (17.5)
Gloria and Lillie
Emma (5), Esther (4) and Camie (5)
Caleb (6), Parker (9) and Clay (5)
The lovely Mrs. Kim Chatham and Titus (soon to be 1 in March...who did not attend the celebration without clothes...he was just in the process of getting his pajamas on when I took this sweet photo)
Getting ready to make brownie sundaes...yum!
The traditional "birthday duck"...just couldn't have a birthday around our house without that duck candle...started the tradition when Lillie was two.
This sweet photo was taken this morning when Lillie was opening her gifts.
