Madonna Inn {Blessing}

Once upon a time when we still lived in California, there was a special tradition for the young ladies of our family in honor of their seventh birthday.  They would put on their fanciest dress, wear their tappiest shoes, along with jewelry and a big hair bow, and go to lunch with Grandma Mattie at the Madonna Inn.  Dennah remembers her special time with great fondness and told Emma and Camie all about this wonderful place with the fanciest cakes.  But telling them about it just wasn't enough, we needed to go so they could see for themselves...

The Madonna Inn is big into atmosphere...
everything from the front doors to the super ornate bathrooms!

The Black Forest Cake...with or without cherries

The Pink Champagne Cake

Bitty and Bekah Eschenbach joined us for the sweet occasion.

Momma Bach also was there!

Pink is Madonna Inn's signature color...even the sugar is pink!
We ate in the Copper Cafe'.  They set a beautiful table.

The girls enjoyed sitting at their own table so the could enjoy special
"girl time", along with their HUGE pieces of cake...yum!!

Camie was very pleased with her piece of Black Forest Cake.

Emma was thrilled to eat a piece of Pink Champagne Cake.
The white chocolate curls are so good!

Bitty, Dee and Bekah are very special friends.

Emma and Camie are precious flowers in our family's garden of children!

The girls were all blessed by their special time at the Madonna Inn.
Very sweet memories were made.
