Update on Lillie {Blessing}



Lillie and Becker...what a joy to see them in sweet fellowship!

Things have changed drastically for Lillie.  She will not be returning to HQ to further pursue a spot on the Ten Accord Women's Power Team.  After much discussion with Mr. Gothard, it was determined that Lillie would be a better fit for the In the Gap program in OKC.  She was blessed greatly by her time at HQ and left with Mr. Gothard's blessing.  Part of the issue came down to commitment.  We had asked Lillie to not give a vow of time to single service and that was going to be a requirement to travel internationally with the team.  We feel that it is important to serve the Lord all the days of our lives and that we are not to make vows that put God into a box.  So, Lord willing, Lillie will be joining the In the Gap team in January.  In the meantime, we are very happy to have her back and are eager to see what God has in store for her this fall.

Lil will be heading home with us this weekend.  I have been spoiled.  She has been with me since the middle of August.  Her dad hasn't seen her since the middle of July...and has been taking care of her snake since the end of July.  He is going to be very, very happy to see Lillie!
