Dennah had picked music as her birthday theme with the colors being black, white and pink. We sent her to the wedding early to help out with Parker, Emma & Camie so we could decorate...balloons, streamers, etc. Then when it was time to leave the wedding, Brent took Dennah on a quick detour to Braun's to pick up ice cream so we could at least do something fun on her real birthday. The rest of us raced home. The Mount's arrived (all wearing the appropriate birthday theme colors being the good sports that they are!) and hid their car, helped with the last minute details and we all waited for Dennah. She was so surprised!! We did everything she wanted for her birthday celebration, just a day early. We had a potato bar dinner, chocolate mint ship ice cream cake, played musical chairs, "name that hymn", worked on a musical word search and had sweet fellowship. Dennah was blessed and most delighted in how her birthday turned out.
It is hard to believe that "One Note Dennah" or "Little Dee", as she has been called at various times over the years, is now 14! Time flies way too fast. We couldn't be more proud of the way God has grown Dennah thus far and we look forward to see all the Lord has planned for our sweet "Princess Flower Daisy" in the years to come. HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY DENNAH!! We love you.
