Many Blessings from our family to yours! We pray this letter finds you and your precious family well and enjoying this very special holiday season. Once again another year has come and gone and we find ourselves looking back with grateful hearts for all that God has done to bless our family. This year has been filled with many challenges yet filled with much joy. We have struggled in ways we never would have imagined and through it all found peace that truly surpasses all understanding. We praise God for His mercy and enduring love for us. Some of the highlights & milestones of our year have been…Clay, Emma & Camie (each 3.5 years old) have moved into “big kid” panties...which times three is a HUGE milestone for our family! They have discovered that letters have sounds and mean something. They love to write, sing and “make loudness” all day long. They fill our home with joy & delight with their unique and special personalities.
Parker (almost 7) is finding his own and moving past being a little kid to a young man. Parker is very close to his brothers and is known to do all he can to bless and care for them. He has shown bravery & wisdom beyond his years at times. We are very proud of Parker! Parker likes to read, write, draw, play with Legos, work & play outside, and drive the 4-wheeler.
Becker (10.5) is growing into a responsible young man. He wants to do “man things” and loves to do anything with his dad. Becker was blessed to take two deer this season and the meat he helped provide for our family has blessed us greatly. Becker also likes to fish, ride bikes, draw and explore & play with his brothers. He also helps “take care” of his mama...so sweet!
Susanna (almost 11) is very happy living in Tulsa as she continues to work towards her healing from Reactive Attachment Disorder. Susanna likes to play with her friends, draw, sing, read and play outside. Tamy talks with Susanna most everyday and the family sees her regularly for family therapy. It is a blessing that Susanna is delighted to be where she is living and is receiving excellent care.
Dennah (14) started taking piano lessons this year, in addition to violin lessons. She is praying about a degree in music. Along with her older sisters, Dennah has been using her talents to play at church and at local senior resident homes. Dennah continues to enjoy gardening, reading, sewing and baking. Dennah’s servant’s heart is a blessing to many people.
Lillian (15.75) is looking forward to getting her driving permit next month, Lord willing. Lillie enjoys anything to do with technology and is our “go to” person to fix most any computer, TV, etc. Lillie enjoys being outside, drawing, reading and music, among others things.
Hattie (18.75) graduated from high school last spring and is eagerly awaiting the opening of the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in Norman this coming spring. Hattie also graduated from the EXCEL program last March after spending 8 intense weeks in Dallas. Hattie continues to enjoy playing the piano, photography, working with her dad and helping around the house. We will all miss Hattie greatly once school starts.
Brent & Tamy (getting older by the minute!) are busy holding down the fort and keeping this family moving in the right direction. We have had some challenges this year have made us even more grateful for each day we have with our children. We are thankful that they are in our life, they desire to walk with God, they love their family and want God’s best. What more could we want as parents?!! Yes, we are tired but are happy, healthy and blessed beyond measure. As our pastor likes to say...God is good all the time. All the time God is good!
May the continuing Celebration of Christ’s Birth
light your lives and fill your hearts with peace and joy.
We want to wish you a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a JOYOUS NEW YEAR!
