Action Packed Day

Today was quite the action packed day for my "what-a-guy" husband. First thing was a trip to Oklahoma City to pick up a used window for our van. We hope to have it installed on Monday so we can be up and running again. The son who is paying for this is very grateful for the used option since the new option was quoted at $1100...yikes!!

Next, Brent & Hattie headed south to the Henry's to give paintball a try. They both had a great time putting their new guns and masks to use while getting the hang of the art of all terrain paintball (Brent's gun & mask were his family birthday gift). I am not sure how far Brent will take this sport but Hattie is definitely a paintball convert. Hattie was glad she was only hit once. As for her dad, he got in the middle of things and took his share of hits. Around 30 people at the event so there was lots of activity. Travis Henry, along with his family, put on a great event and both Brent & Hattie we glad to be included. Paintball now has the attention of the Elliott family as our boys are eager to give it a try sometime.

To end the evening, we finally were able to fit in Brent's birthday celebration which should have taken place on Monday. Great burgers (thanks to a generous gift of ground beef from the Russell's), root beer floats and a few gifts made for a nice end to an action packed day.

Tomorrow, we celebrate Clay, Emma and Camie's 5th birthday. WOW! Hard for this mama to believe her babies will now be five. Another action packed day is expected when the Mount family joins us for an afternoon skating event.
