St. Patrick's Day

We started a new St. Patrick's Day tradition this year. Yesterday, we held our first annual St. Patrick's Day Table Tennis Tournament and Celebration. We were blessed to have the Mount family (including Grandma) and the Russell family join us. Dennah and Clay went all out by making lots of green food for our event...green sugar popcorn, green frosted cupcakes, green lime jello and green lime kool-aid. Everyone brought food for this event, so there was lots to eat. Hattie put together a "stick the coin on the pot of gold" game, along with a "fill the jar with gold gum coins" game. The little children had lots fun with the games. While all the table tennis was taking place with the bigger folks, the little ones also colored St. Patrick's Day pictures. A good time was had by all. We are grateful to have spent the evening with dear and special friends. We hope to host this event for many St. Patrick's Days to come. I'll now be keeping my eyes out for great deals on truly green shirts for next year's event. The possibilities for green are endless...
