The Eschenbach Family
Ty (16), Al, Deena, Finn (11 months), Bitty (11 soon), Chip (18 this week) and Bekah (almost 10)
Finnegan Jacob Eschenbach...Better know as baby Finn. Many of you prayed for this miracle baby when he was born last August at 25 weeks weighing only 1 pound, 9 ounces. With all praise to God, Finn is a healthy, happy, growing little boy.
We are so grateful that the Eschenbach's welcome our family and do all they can to make us feel comfortable and loved.
Daddy Bach to all the "middles" to go bowling. Bitty, Bekah, Becker & Parker all has a blast!
Finn is very attached to his momma & daddy. A good thing. It is a rare treat for someone outside his immediate family to be able to hold him with out causing him stress. Hattie was thrilled to be able to get a little loving in on this precious boy.
Emma and Daddy Bach has special buddies. Some how the phrase "How did you do that?!!" said with great expression became a big deal. Whenever Daddy Bach would say it to Emma, she would lose all control and laugh herself silly. Very cute.
Becker spent some time doing some mowing in the Eschenbach's side yard. He did a good job and was happy to bless our friends. Bekah made sure that Becker had plenty to drink while getting the job done.
It is a tradition to celebrate everyone's birthday all at once with an "Everything Bad for You Day." We have sugary cereal for breakfast, soda throughout the day, lots of candy, watch a family movie, and do something fun. This year we all went swimming at a friend's pool. (I have some fun photos of this event that I will share in another post.) We kicked of the day the evening before with s'mores and some volleyball. Very fun!
Emma, Clay & Camie were so happy when they were given the opportunity to hold Finn. Below Finn is rubbing Clay's head. This kept him occupied and happy while Camie held him which blessed her greatly.

Daddy Bach's birthday was on Wednesday. Bitty & Bekah sold fireworks as a fundraiser. At first it seemed like a great idea to use come as candles but when the smoke alarms all went off and the top layer of frosting had to be scraped off because of all the ashes, we started to rethink the wisdom of the plan. The cake was good nonetheless.
Becker, Bitty, Parker, Dennah & Bekah had lots of fun playing games together. We are leaving the Eschenbach's tomorrow for the next destination of our California adventure. Our time with this special family has been truly blessed. Friendships are gifts from the Lord and we are so grateful that He has allowed us to have been friends with the Eschenbach's for the last 15 years. We look forward to making more sweet memories with our friends in the years ahead.
