Our time with Nana & Grandpa was brief but lots of fun. Lillie was especially happy to have Sunday lunch with Grandpa and Nana. Tender beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, fried okra, salad, bread and homemade ice cream...yum! If you have been blessed to join them for one of these delicious meals, you know why we all enjoyed our meal! The kids had fun playing baseball under the shade of the huge pecan trees in the backyard. Nana's turtle braved the heat and came out for something to eat. It is fun watching him eat lettuce and plums with it's big tongue and slow moving body. With all praise to God, the triplet's did great with Grandpa's dog, Falcon. This is amazing since last year they practically climbed up the nearest body while screaming to get away from him. We credit our sweet little dog, Joy, for helping them be more comfortable around dogs. Yeah! We will be stopping back by on our return trip to Oklahoma. It will be nice to see them again before we leave California. We are also looking forward to seeing Grandpa & Nana when they come to Oklahoma the end of August. Thank you Grandpa & Nana for taking such great care of us. We LOVE you!
