Bakersfield Cousins

Our last stop in California was to stay with Grandpa & Nana for a day. As always, we were blessed to spend time with them. They always take such great care of us and a make us feel so loved and welcomed. We were doubly blessed when Uncle Carl & Aunt Sue, Larry, Kristi & Carissa, and Uncle Denny (Dennah is named after him!), Aunt Sandra & Taylor stopped by in the evening to visit. How fun! It had been a long time since the cousins had gotten together to visit. Taylor (15) had grown a ton and Carissa (17) continues to grow more beautiful inside and out every time we see her. Since Carissa and Dennah were the only two cousins there that weren't adopted, it was interesting to see all the ways they favor each other. Take a look at their eyebrows and sweet smiles. As you can see by the photos, the boys really enjoyed each other and were most amused with themselves.

I was especially blessed to visit with everyone and am grateful that they came our way. BIG hug to all our Bakersfield relatives. We love you.
