Reunion Photos~Just Having Fun

This is the design that was on all our shirts. Lillie designed them and our friend Randy Tyler, owner of Pilgrims Impressions and local pastor, made them for us. We all enjoyed wearing them and now have a fun keepsake of the event.
Being at the beach house is always so much fun. Most of the time is spent enjoying the surf, playing in the sand and taking long, relaxing walks. We all had a blast! Whenever we all get together, Grandpa & Grandma Mattie like to hear the kids all play their instruments and sing. The kids took opportunity to practice together on the deck before their grandparents arrived. What a fun place to practice! Music is truly a gift and an honor to share. They sang "Are You Washed in the Blood."Since we all only get to meet together once a year, we take full advantage to build relationships. Travis truly won over his Elliott cousins by making the effort to surf with the boys at every opportunity. Way to go Travis! Emma is sure that Aunt Stasi is her "buddy" and stuck to her like glue. Had to work on Emma remembering to call her "Aunt Stasi" and not just "Stas." Emma has a lot of "girlfriend" in her, even though she is only five and being raised by truly white parents! It had been five years since we had spent time with Tanna. Dennah enjoyed helping in the kitchen with her and renewing their friendship. We are all very proud of Tanna and how she is working hard to be the bast parent she can to her precious daughter, Rainee.Camie absolutely loves babies. She was so happy that Tanna allowed her to feed Rainee her bottle. We decided to celebrate all our birthdays at one time to make things easier...HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!I think Stasi and I are looking more and more alike all the time. After years of me being the long hair sister, now Stasi is. Very fun. We joke that we are now twins and since we tend to forget each others birthdays, we have decided to just now celebrate our "twin" birthday on August 5th. This will make things so much easier since we plan to be together on that date each year, Lord willing. Building relationships, tying hearts strings and having fun was the goal of our family reunion. We praise God that this is exactly what happened.
