Good Friends

We are blessed with many good friends. Today some of our very special friends, the Chatham family, were able to come our way to spend the afternoon and evening. They blessed us by bringing dinner. It was delicious! (Thank you Chathams!) We have been honored to know the Chathams for 12 years now. Hard to believe it has been that long but at the same time, we feel like we have known them forever. It has been wonderful to walk along side their precious family enjoying sweet fellowship as we strive to raise children for God's glory.

Mr. Chatham, Mr. Mount, Brent and Becker spent the afternoon preparing for one of their favorite activities...hunting! They hung tree stands, managed food plots, and although I wasn't actually with them, I am sure they talked about the BIG bucks they have seen and will harvest this coming season. Emma, Camie & Esther enjoyed playing dolls, dress up and drawing. Esther's way of communicating with the most expressive facial features brought me no end to joy as she shared about the "who did what's" of Camie & Emma. We hardly saw much of Parker, Caleb and Clay. They were extremely busy running around outside with guns in hand as they captured the "bad guys" and hunted for big game. Lillie, Brittney, Dennah, Brooke & Brenna always enjoy hanging out together and seem to never run out of things to talk about. Mrs. Chatham, Titus and I had a relaxing afternoon catching up on all the latest and reflecting on how much we need God to help us make it through each day. Good friends are truly gifts from God.
