Surgery for Lil {Blessing}

Today, Lil had surgery.  The procedure according to her paperwork: left knee arthroscopy with chondroplasy patellar lateral release.  In plain words...her knee cap pulled to one side and didn't track in the groove so they cut whatever was pulling on it, sanded down all the bumpy stuff, and removed all the scar tissue.  Ouch!  Lil is in pain, but it is manageable with medication which is great.  Lord willing, she should improve daily and be fully recovered in three months.  With all praise to God, the surgery went well and Lil is home doing great!

Lillie waiting for surgery.  There was a delay but thankfully she was given some great
 relaxing drugs and wasn't stressed at all!  This is when I made her give up texting
because it was obvious from what and how she was writing that drugs were involved.  haha
 This is a most impressive photo to me because it was taken with my "not an iphone" phone
 and I was able to figure out how to get it off my phone and over to my computer.
Yes, this might be an everyday occurrence for many of you but for me it was a first!

Lil's new after surgery look!

NO...not the right knee!

The left knee.  Lil has a  Hemovac drain in her knee.  The red fluid is most
 impressive to her younger brothers.  This will be removed after 24 hours.

After a major medication induced four hour nap for Lil, she and Dee took
 opportunity to relax together and eat some dinner...around 10:00 PM...
It's been a long day!  So glad that they are best friends!

Thank you to all who have been holding Lillie up in prayer.  Prayers are being answered.

Hey Lil,
Will be praying for you and that you recover quickly. I know how long an injury can take to heal. :/
