It is amazing how quickly Thankful Thursdays come around now that I am purposing to make a weekly post. This has been a week filled with many blessings, along with a testimony of God's grace, mercy and provision...but that's a story for tomorrow's post!
Thankful for early morning breakfast surprises...After dropping off Dee at the airport way too early for any human to be up (in my humble opinion) and not finding a Starbucks open, I decided to swing by the 24 hour bakery and pick up some doughnuts for the family as a special treat. It was most amusing that Lil saw the surprise on Instagram before she came into the kitchen. Still a surprise...just not what I had planned. Haha!
Thankful for our Joy...Our dog is such a blessing to our family. She is also very quirky! She has never been a mama but truly has strong mothering instincts. It is not unusually to find her nursing the kittens, or cats for that matter. Go figure?!!
Thankful he has a good attitude even when things don't go as planned...Becker is not only growing taller with each passing minute, he is also maturing by leaps and bounds. It brings my heart no end to joy to watch this young man handle disappointment with a great attitude. Way to go, Becker!
Thankful for inspiration and direction on my journey to a heart filled with gratefulness...One Thousand Gifts was given to me by a dear friend last summer and it has been a HUGE blessing in my life. Combined with the truths shared by David Gibbs...God is ALL good, God is ALL powerful, and we are to give thanks in ALL situations...and inspiration from another Instagram user, I am finding my balance and embracing life purposely. Something to be truly thankful for!
