Susanna's Visit

Susanna spent the week with us recently. She came wearing new glasses that she is very proud of and picked out herself. The flowers on the side are the bonus to now being able to see clearly all the time. Susanna is getting taller, as you can see from the photo of her and me together. She slept with Emma & Camie in their newly redecorated room on the "guest bed" which is considered a treat. While she was here, Brent set up a water balloon fight for Susanna, Becker, Parker, Clay, Emma & Camie. They all had a great time! Susanna also spent lots of time reading to the triplet's which they greatly enjoyed. She was also able to fit in a lot of skating, some volleyball, a trip to the library, a special day with Mrs. Russell (thank you, Virginia!), and a movie or two.

For the most part, Susanna had a good visit. She continues to work hard on her treatment and we are proud of her. We praise God that He has placed people in Susanna's life who are instrumental in helping her work towards her healing. This isn't an easy road for any of us. We take comfort in knowing that God writes the final chapter and works all things out for His glory and our good.
